Our team of professionals are passionate about our work not only in the office, but in the community as well. Currently, Terry is the Past Chair of The Financial Advisors Association of Canada (the largest association for financial advisors), a member of CALU (Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting) and on the advisory committees for Munich Re and Great West Life.
Justine Zavitz, Advisor, is the Chair of Advocis London, a member of CALU, a member of the Women Leadership Committee (affiliated with St. Joseph’s Health Foundation), a member of the Steering Committee for Young Professionals Group, and a committee member for Children’s Health Foundation Golf Tournament.
Louise Watson, Human Resources and Operations Manager, is on the board of directors for Cheshire London which supports individuals with physical disabilities to live actively, independently.
Jennifer Morrison, Advisor/Planner, is a committee member for Jewels and Jeans, which is a fundraiser for the Arthritis Society. She also coaches her daughter’s soccer team.
As a team, every holiday season, we put together multiple gift-filled shoe boxes for under privileged children from less fortunate countries. This allows children to experience a happier holiday season. In lieu of a Christmas gift exchange, we donate clothing to the Men’s mission in London. The staff also donates time at Christmas with the Salvation Army putting bags of toys together to help local families in need.
Zavitz Insurance is also a strong financial supporter to various charities within our community and to the medical and dental programs at UWO.
